The Evolution of the "Manic Mind" (Claire '21)

I wanted to study the common conception of our “minds” through society’s observation and modern science of mental conditions (specifically depression). I researched two parts: one was focusing on philosophy and how humans have grown to understand our minds (as well as depression/conditions). The second part was the science behind our mind through the lens of medication used to treat depression.
